Our SAT and ACT curriculum has yielded excellent results. Experts on our team have broken the tests down. Standardized tests no longer seem difficult or daunting. Given a certain amount of tutoring, our students now go into testing environments stress free and with a great understanding of what to expect and how to solve the problems.

In addition to our guide, our resources page is filled with grade boosting material. We understand that some students may need to focus more on certain areas depending on their learning ability and strengths and weaknesses. We have worksheets and booster packages for everything! Students and tutors can easily access our documents during tutoring sessions.
Our Resources page also contains alternative strategies to those offered in our guides as we recognize that students learn differently. Oftentimes, looking at a topic from a different perspective is all that is needed to complete the understanding of that topic.

Well, we have the perfect solution. Our team has created a diagnostic test which allows us to pinpoint your child’s strengths and weaknesses. The results of our diagnostic test allow us to decide what test your child better suited for or what areas they have to improve on if they want to take a certain test.
We have seen cases where students decide to study for both the SAT and the ACT.

Our solution to Standardized Test Prep
Our very own guides to the SAT & ACT have been carefully compiled from over a decade's worth of experience.
We are especially proud of the visual aids in our guides as they increase our students retention and understanding of the subject(s). Our guides contain a “challenge yourself” section for those students who are aiming to be among the top scorers in the nation. We sincerely believe in our products and methods of tutoring.
Most students have covered the topics that show up on standardized tests in class, however, it was several years ago. At rising star tutors, we teach our students to tailor their approach to certain questions (especially on the Math sections) as they have a time constraint and the questions are posed differently. We focus on topic specific strategies such as working backwards and using the process of elimination. Students are also taught techniques which improve their reading comprehension as well as methods which help to spot grammar errors.
Our guides are FREE to students who purchase at least ten hours of Test Preparation tutoring.
